After a late start to planting, soybeans are mostly caught up and look to be in good condition. NDSU Extension Cropping Systems Specialist Greg Endres says the June weather and temperatures sped the crop along. “Most soybeans are in the R2-R3 stage which is full flower and moving into pod development.”
