Elk City, Oklahoma custom combiner David Misener has moved into the North Platte, Nebraska area. Misener says the crop in Oklahoma and Kansas was pretty tough. “We didn’t have a lot of good yields. I did anywhere from 15-to-61 bushel wheat, but majority was around 25-to-30 bushels.” The wheat improved as harvest moved into Nebraska. “There’s been quite a bit of hail in regions, but we were still able to get some fields that were zeroed out by the hail.”
