Colfax, North Dakota was the site for this past weeks Pioneer Agronomy Update . Pioneer Field Agronomist J.J. Jaehning said field conditions are on the dry side. “We’re four-to-five inches below normal for average precipitation.” Despite being dry, Jaehning says growing degree units are ahead of the norm. “From a May 17th plant date, we’re about 200-250 units above normal.” You can watch the full update here.
