CHS is reporting quarterly net income of $547.5 million. That compares to nearly $577 million during last year’s record third quarter. For the first nine months of the fiscal year, CHS has net income of $1.6 billion and revenues of over $36 billion. Strong soybean and canola crush margins pushed earnings higher for its oilseed processing business. In the agriculture division, wholesale and retail agronomy product prices declined, resulting in lower margins compared to last year.
