USDA Economist Bart Kenner is looking at a lot of negative numbers. “It’s the big downturn in bulk products that’s the biggest mover of total export values.” Wheat is down $4.5 billion from 2022. Corn is down $9.8 billion and cotton exports are down $4.6 billion from last year. Total agricultural exports October-through-May totaled $128.6 billion.
