Vilsack Defends RFS Decision

While announcing plans to increase the availability of domestic biofuels, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack was asked about the recent EPA decision on renewable fuel obligations for the next three years. Vilsack said EPA’s announcement represents the largest biofuels production target in the history of the Renewable Fuel Standard. “The reality is no administration in my 30 years of dealing with this issue that has been more supportive for the biofuel industry than the Biden-Harris administration,” said Vilsack. “That’s a fact.”
