The Public Lands Council has launched a campaign against the Bureau of Land Management’s proposed rule on the management of public lands. “This would affect hundreds of millions of acres of land across the West,” said Kaitlyn Glover, executive director, PLC. “This would allow them to create an entirely new leasing system on federal land.” For states like North Dakota and South Dakota, Glover says this ruling could open the door to removing livestock grazing from public lands.
