With a weather market, traders are looking at every forecast. The Money Farm market analyst Allison Thompson says the European and GFS weather models have differed throughout the spring and early summer. They are definitely different; the GFS does show a bit more moisture, but it hasn’t been as accurate as the European model,” said Thompson. “Both models seem to flip back and forth. As we get closer to July, it’s going to be irreversible for some of the crop if we don’t see some decent moisture.”
