Two major grain companies, Bunge and Viterra, are merging. Bunge shareholders will control about 70 percent of the company and Viterra shareholders will own the remaining 30 percent. The deal is expected to be finalized by mid-2024, but it will likely face a regulatory review from the United States, Canada, Brazil and other countries.
