North Dakota Chief Information Security Officer Michael Gregg addressed the 2023 Bushel Buddy Seat Conference saying agriculture is not immune to hacking and security threats. “Thirty-seven percent of businesses in the last year reported being impacted by ransomware in some way. That’s a huge number.” Taking time to secure passwords and vet emails before opening links are all necessary steps to staying secure. “We’ve got to work to improve our security posture. There’s a lot we’re doing, but we can always do more.”
