NDSU partners with FFA to inspire students to major in agricultural education. NDSU Teach Ag Intern McKayla Carlson-Hughes says there is a need for more teachers. “There’s a lot of great students interested with 8 incoming students this fall so far. There’s about 20 open positions in North Dakota, so the need is there.” Hughes spent the week at North Dakota’s FFA convention speaking and educating students about the benefits of NDSU’s ag education department.
