Farmers transition from conventional to regenerative agriculture systems can expect a 15-to-25 percent increase in profitability, but that transition can take three-to-five years. A new report released by Boston Consulting Group and the One Planet Business for Biodiversity coalition cites reduced crop input costs, healthier soil and fewer complications from fertilizer runoff as the primary benefits of regenerative agriculture.
