Dryness across portions of the Corn Belt is expected to become a market factor. AgResource Company President Dan Basse says the Memorial Day holiday break will be the trigger point when traders begin to focus on weather. Planting progress has been a non-issue for the majority of the Corn Belt. “Everyone but the Dakota’s has been rolling really well. If we don’t see a lot of wheels turning in North and South Dakota, we might need to adjust our projected acreage.”
