Van Ahn and Company market analyst Kristi Van Ahn-Kjeseth thinks the dryness in parts of the Midwest will eventually get the attention of the trade, “Sooner rather than later, people will talk about how dry it is in key areas.” The large stockpiles of corn and soybeans are also a factor. “We’re going to battle that two-billion-bushel carryout prediction in corn for a long time.”
