State Representative Paul Anderson says certain items in Minnesota’s environment, natural resources, climate, and energy finance and policy bill would impact agriculture. Treated seed disposal and a proposed drainage portal are top of mind. Anderson says treated seed disposal provisions are mostly common sense, but the drainage portal could cause problems. “It could slow down projects that need to get done to keep up our drainage systems here in Minnesota.” Anderson is the lead Republican on the House Agriculture Committee.
