Farmers in southwestern North Dakota are making good planting progress. Jon Wert is in the New England area where a lot of acres have already been planted. Field conditions are very good, but Wert says he wouldn’t mind a little rain. “I actually would like half an inch of rain to even things out and get that topsoil wet again.” Some areas with shelterbelts still contain snow.
