As potato growers prepare for planting, seed potatoes need to be prepared and healed properly for a week or two. NDSU Extension Potato Agronomist Andy Robinson reminds farmers to wait for field conditions to be ready. “Those that are growing fresh, chip potatoes, they’ve got time, but the rest of the growers are behind.”
