Tyson Foods is planning to eliminate about ten percent of its corporate jobs and 15 percent of senior leadership roles. The layoffs are a result of the company’s declining profits and the struggle to improve its poultry sector. In March, Tyson announced the closing of two U.S. processing plants with almost 1,700 employees laid off.
