One feature of the South Dakota State FFA Convention is the career carnival. South Dakota Soil Health Coalition Coordinator Cindy Zenk said her group educates youth about possible careers. Regarding the wet spring, Zenk says the recent weather has gone a long way in replenishing the soil moisture. “Even though we’ve been getting moisture, it’s important to keep that soil covered, especially as summer comes and temperatures rise.”
