The South Dakota FFA Convention includes a career carnival. South Dakota Soybean Communications Specialist Maggie Vander Laan was part of that experience. In an interview with RRFN, Vander Laan said she is proud of her own time in a blue jacket. “This state is not very big so everybody you meet is associated somehow in agriculture so it’s been really cool as you grow in your career to look back and see everybody kind of come up through FFA.”
