That’s being driven by traditional crop protection companies acquiring biological suppliers. Corteva’s acquisition of Stoller last fall is a prime example. “I think it’s a great opportunity for both companies as we come together,” said Stoller Marketing Director David Henke. “It’s a great fit.” Stoller produces biostimulants. Henke said there is often confusion between biostimulants and biologicals. Stoller is a biostimulant. “We work mainly with plant growth regulators, plant growth promoters so we deal a lot with plant physiology helping that plant get off to a great start and then having really good vegetative development.”
