CF Industries Expands

The fertilizer company, CF Industries, has signed a purchase agreement to acquire an ammonia plant in Louisiana. CF Industries is paying nearly $1.7 billion to Incitec Pivot Limited. The facility has a capacity of 880,000 tons of ammonia annually.
