According to Acres & Shares owner Jayson Menke, 391 American Crystal Sugar Company beet shares were brokered last week at an average price of $4,548.72 per share. “Broker inventory has been depleted. Currently, there’s not many shares available and the remaining shares for sale are priced pretty aggressively at $4,800 to $5,000 per share. It will be interesting to see if we get another listing push in the next month or so or if the market will continue to trend up based on low inventory.” The record high brokered price was in early to mid-November 2022 when 173 shares were brokered at $4,800 per share.
