The licensing of meat processors has been reviewed by the North Dakota House Agriculture Committee. North Dakota Department of Agriculture Livestock Industries Director Dr. Andrea Grondahl said this bill would help protect public health by requiring licensure of meat processing businesses. “Events in the past two years demonstrated that a registration requirement alone, does not adequately protect the public.”
