The North Dakota House voted 70-24 to make changes to the corporate farming law with hopes of expanding animal agriculture in the state. The North Dakota Farmers Union opposed previous attempts at changing these rules, but took a nuetral stance with HB 1371. NDFU worked with other groups to include amendments limiting the number of shareholders and requiring the majority of shareholders to be operators.
