The North Dakota Farmers Union hosted their first ever Evolution Ag Summit. NDFU Government Relations Director Matt Perdue says the event’s main focus is carbon education. “This is a new concept for NDFU to dive deep into key market trends that are impacting agriculture. We did a survey last year and one of the big pieces of feedback was a desire for carbon education.” This year’s theme is “The Carbon Conundrum”. The speaker line-up is a mix of farmers, fuel companies, and commodity processing groups to talk on the different views of sustainability and how carbon fits into that future.
