Summit Carbon Solutions has secured easements to build its pipeline on two-thirds of the proposed route in Iowa. The company released that information to legislators. The pipeline will take carbon from ethanol plants in five states and store it underground in western North Dakota. In North Dakota, the Public Utilities Commission has scheduled four public hearings to take input on the pipeline project.
