State Representative Dawson Holle is sponsoring a bill that would alllow dairy farms to sell raw milk directly to consumers in North Dakota. The House Agriculture Committee heard testimony both in favor of and in opposition to the bill this past week. Supporters spoke about freedom of choice and the ability to revive the state’s dairy industry. Opponents highlighted the health risks associated with the unregulated sale of raw milk. HB 1515 will be revisited in the future.
