Retail fertilizer prices are trending lower. “When we look at where prices are today versus recent history, there’s nothing normal about it, but this is a blessing,” said Josh Linville, director of fertilizer, StoneX. “Prices seem like they’re starting to stabilize and I’m hoping the worst is behind us.” Linville expects North American fertilizer manufacturers to continue with plans to increase production. The long-term forecast is for strong global demand.
