One of the country’s largest chicken processors is asking the government to address an ongoing rail service issue with Union Pacific. Rail shipments are not making it to the Foster Farms’ facilities in California on a timely basis. The company claims millions of birds are in danger of not being fed due to the UP service problems. The Union Pacific is blaming the weather for the delays.
