The wheat market has had its fair share of issues this past year. North Dakota Wheat Commission Market Devlopment and Research Manager Erica Olson says the global supply and demand situation is holding up. “There are some issues with main exporting countries like the Russia and Ukraine conflict and the Argentina drought.” Argentine wheat production is estimated to be half of what it was in 2022. “Export opportunities for the U.S. and other countries might open up to help fill that gap.”
