The Environmental Protection Agency is expected to update its Waters of the United States rule this week. In the past year, the EPA received over 120,000 public comments and hosted ten regional roundtable events. The Supreme Court is reviewing EPA’s jurisdiction under the Clean Water Act and many lawmakers wanted the agency to wait for the court decision.
