Red River Valley Sugarbeet Growers Association President Neil Rockstad says growers at the annual meeting were in good spirits following a recore sugarbeet crop. “As a company, we’ve taken in more total tons than ever, but that’s due to more acres planted and not record yields. Beets are in the pile and everyone is in good shape.” Rockstad, who farms near Ada, Minnesota, says farmers are still worried about input costs.
