Valley City, North Dakota farmer Scott Huso was part of a U.S. Wheat Associates delegation that recently visited Southeast Asia. Huso says quality is important, but price plays a big role. “If you can buy a bushel of wheat a $1 cheaper from a neighboring country, they might lean towards that. There are countries that truly value higher quality and are willing to pay for it.”
