Country Futures market analyst Darrell Holaday thinks Mexico’s decision to ban GMO corn imports by 2024 is not feasible. “If they go to non-GMO corn, they’ll pay $3 a bushel more than anything else or they’ll starve to death. I think the whole issue is ridiculous.” Holaday expects Mexico to delay implementation of that GMO corn ban. “If they don’t, it’ll be a huge policy mistake on their part.”
