The dry, open fall is on everyone’s mind. “We had a relatively full tank last year because we had a rain in the fall,” said Pioneer field agronomist Clyde Tiffany. “We’re pretty well depleted right now.” In this harvest update, Tiffany said soil moisture conditions can change quickly. “The good news is that drought tolerance is really pretty good in these modern hybrids.”
