SES Vanderhave Regional Sales Manager Nick Revier is thankful this season’s sugarbeet harvest was uneventful. “We needed it with how many challenges we had this spring,” said Revier. “Typically, we look at that crop freezing off in September, but this year it kept growing until the second week of October so we got some extra yield and quite a bit of extra sugar.” At the end of the season, the sugar content was over 18 percent, which is “fantastic.”
