The National Corn Growers Association is calling on the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office to intervene in a trade dispute with Mexico over corn imports. Mexico plans to end imports of corn grown using biotech traits by 2024. An opinion piece written by NCGA President Tom Haag was published in a Washington, D.C. publication called ‘The Hill.’ Haag, who farms in Minnesota, said the clock is ticking and the issue needs to be resolved soon.
