Minot, North Dakota farmer Chad Rubbleke finished up harvest a few weeks ago. The soybeans finished below his expectations. “They looked good all year, but we never got any moisture so they ended up about average.” Rubbleke’s plan for fall was adjusted. “We were hoping to start applying fertilizer, but it’s too dry underneath, so we’ll probably end up storing it and putting it on in the spring.”
