According to Friday’s USDA report, this season’s spring wheat production in North Dakota is estimated at 263 million bushels. That’s up more than 50 percent from last year. Minnesota spring wheat production is up 33 percent at nearly 74 million bushels. South Dakota spring wheat output is up a full 100 percent at 33.6 million bushels. North Dakota’s spring wheat yield is record high at 50 bushels per acre. Minnesota has an average yield of 61bushels per acre and South Dakota averaged 48 bushels per acre.
