Traders have been very cautious ahead of the September quarterly stocks report. Global Commodity Analytics and Consulting President Mike Zuzolo says the report could be a market mover. “The trade supports this. Soybeans are supposed to have a lower stocks figure as of September 1 versus last year at this time. I think this is right, but it’s not a lot lower. I think this will be looked at critically.” Zuzolo wants to see a pretty good reduction in soybean ending stocks. “If we’re not at least 20 million bushels less than where we were last year at this time, I think it may begin to weigh on the beans.”
