In the last week, dry conditions worsened across the Dakotas and Minnesota. The majority of North Dakota went from abnormally dry to moderate drought. Abnormally dry conditions are getting more widespread in northeastern South Dakota compared to the previous week. In Minnesota, patches of moderate to severe drought are expanding, including Lincoln, Wilkin and Polk Counties.
