USDA has awarded over $500 million in loans and grants to provide high-speed internet to rural areas. Thirty-two projects in 20 states received the funding, including the Halstad Telephone Company for a fiber network in North Dakota’s Traill County. BEK Communications is also receiving funds to provide service to Barnes, Cass and Ransom Counties.
