One of the world’s largest fertilizer companies plans to shut down production at its Belgian plant. Norway-based Yara blames the sky-high natural gas prices across Europe. Last month, Yara said it planned to cut ammonia production by 65 percent and ammonium nitrate production by 35 percent.
