The U.S. Department of Energy has announced the sale of up to 10 million barrels of crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in November. This is part of President Biden’s effort to address high energy costs related to the war in Ukraine. This announcement brings the total to 165 million barrels out of the 180 million barrels authorized in March.
