Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza continues to spread in Minnesota. There has been ten confirmed cases in the state with this fall outbreak and Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen said more announcements are coming. “With the bird migration just starting, we know the virus is still in the air so that continues to be a very big concern for us.” Since late August, Minnesota has had 400,000 positive HPAI confirmations.
