Grain market volatility can be paralyzing at times. Northland Community and Technical College Farm Business Management Instructor Betsy Jensen says slow and steady wins the race. “Farmers have to keep making the sales, accepting they won’t be selling at the high.” Basis levels are good for both corn and soybeans. “It’s enticing right now to deliver off the combine, take the cash and run.” Jensen was a panelist in the first market outlook forum at the Big Iron Farm Show.
