The North Dakota State Board of Animal Health amended the statewide suspension of poultry events. Effective immediately, following the positive detection of HPAI, poultry events such as show, sales, and swaps are prohibited in the affected county and adjoining counties. Currently, the restricted counties are Cass county, and the adjoining counties of Traill, Steele, Barnes, Ransom, and Richland. If no new cases emerge after 30 days, the suspension will be automatically lifted for that area.
