The western leg of the Pro Farmer tour traveled through southwestern and south-central Minnesota. Pro Farmer’s Chip Flory expects to see good crops on the way to Rochester. “We’re going to be in a part of the corn best that kind of had a weird growing season. I expect to see drought conditions in south-west Minnesota. But once we get over to south central Minnesota, I think everyone’s expectations are going to be high that we see a good corn crop.” Eastern leg tour lead Brian Grete is expecting some of the best numbers on the tour. “We should see some pretty darn good crops. They’ve just had a phenomenal growing season.”
