U.S. Custom Harvesters, Inc. board secretary Paul Paplow is harvesting in Montana. “We’ve been working on lentils, chickpeas, and durum. I’d say lentils are anywhere from 25 to 45 bushels an acre, chickpeas are around 40, and durum is anywhere from 30 to 65 bushels an acre.” Paplow says the Montana stop is new for him. “We’re just picking up work until North Dakota is ready.”
